Entrepreneurship & Innovation Festival (E&I Fest) is a week of celebration filled with entrepreneurship-themed events spearheaded by Nanyang Technopreneurship Center.
Each year, there has been an overwhelming response from the NTU community, proving that NTU is right on track towards achieving its five pillars of excellence, and in this case, Innovation Asia - Developing a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem across the university.
Events and programmes line up:
2day Lean Start-Up Workshop - Equipping participants the basics and fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Nao Marketplace - Students were given opportunity to set-up booths within the campus to experience what it is like to be an entrepreneur!
High Tea with Entrepreneurs - Tjin Lee, Managing Director of Mercury Marketing and Communications and Li Zhen Ling, Founder of Tiara Bridal were invited to share with students their real life experiences. They shared their struggles and how they had overcome and persevered in their dreams to get to where they are now.
Iron Man Movie Marathon - The famous fictional character Iron Man (Tony Stark) who is a technopreneur by nature provided fun and excitement for everyone attending the event.
Get Cozy. You Never Work Alone. - Co-working space visit to JTC LaunchPad @ one-North, a place to find accommodation for your beloved start-up!
"Social Entreprise: Doing Good Well!" - A talk from Singapore Centre of Social Entreprise (raiSE) and Arthur Choo, Founder and Managing Director of BEAT’ABOX Group to increase the awareness of social entrepreneurship among the students.
Through these events and activities, Nanyang Technopreneurship Center aims to:
Promote entrepreneurialism by inspiring the NTU community to act on their entrepreneurial and innovative ideas with their boundless energy and talents.
Showcase NTU’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and provision of an experiential learning platform to stimulate the creation and evaluation process of new business ventures.
Forge friendship and strengthen bonds within the NTU community amidst a strong atmosphere of entrepreneurialism.
With this annual initiative, NTC strives to provide greater opportunities for NTU students to engage and expand their network with their like-minded counterparts, industry pioneers and leaders, entrepreneurs and investors.
