Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme (MSc TIP) students had much to cheer about, as the Class of 2017 put on their graduation gowns and caps for Convocation 2017.

A total of 113 MSc TIP degrees were given out on 31 July 2017. Of these, 43 were for graduates from the English Class, while 51 were given to those from the Chinese Class. The remaining 19 were for students who studied in the Part-Time programme. The event also saw 14 students walk away with Merit Awards.

Prior to the ceremony, Associate Professor Hooi Den Huan, Director of Nanyang Technopreneurship Center (NTC), addressed the cohort, congratulating them on their achievements.

"You have worked very hard and put in a lot of sweat and sometimes tears to be where you are today. You have done not only yourselves proud but all your loved ones, fellow classmates and all of us in NTC too! We are indeed very happy for you," he said.

He stressed on the importance of the future, encouraging graduates to view their degrees not simply as an end, but a means to an end.

"We hope that through your learning journey at NTU and NTC, you feel sufficiently transformed; in a good position to even learn better and more importantly, will make a meaningful difference to your loved ones and to humanity."

Congratulations once again to our graduates and we wish them all the best in their entrepreneurial journey!
