1. Is GMAT or GRE required?

GMAT and GRE are not required.

2. Can I pay the programme fee in instalments?

*Students with outstanding fees will be barred from viewing examination results in the current trimester and from registering subject in the following trimester. A late fee of S$25.00 will also be imposed.

3. When and what is the duration of the Overseas Immersion Programme?

The Overseas Immersion Programme will be arranged towards the end of the programme and the duration is approximately 2 weeks.

4. How can I apply and what are the modes of payment for the application fees?

An administrative fee of S$53.50 (S$50.00 + 7% GST (S$3.50)) applies. You can pay by any of the following modes:

Internet using credit card

Internet payment (WorldPay- VISA / Mastercard) is available. Instructions are available upon submission of online form.

DBS/POSB ATM 

  • Insert DBS/POSB ATM card in card slot
  • Enter personal PIN number
  • Select "iBanking, Cashcard & More Services" option
  • Then select Credit Card/Bill Payment option
  • In the list of corporations listed, select "NTU APPLICATION FEE" for payment of bill. Please scroll to the next screen if you are unable to find NTU's name
  • At the "Enter Bill Reference No." prompt, enter NTU Bill reference number and press "Enter" key to proceed (The Bill Reference number is unique to each applicant)
  • Select account type to debit
  • Enter the exact amount (S$53.50) and select "Correct" to proceed
  • Check your payment details and select "Confirm" to proceed with the transaction
  • Please attach a photo copy of your transaction receipt with your application form

 

 Cheque / Bankdraft 

  • Please write a crossed cheque of S$53.50 (Singapore Dollars) made payable to " Nanyang Technological University" and mail it to the following address:

Important Notes

  • Application fee is non-refundable
  • DO NOT send cash by POST. Only Cheques / Bankdrafts are to be sent by post.
  • Applications not following the above guidelines will be deemed invalid and will not be processed. No further notification will be sent to these applicants.

5. What are the financial assistance available and the eligibility criteria?


(i) NTC-MSc TIP Entrepreneurship Study Award (up to SGD30,000)   

All applicants seeking admission to the MSc TIP will be eligible to apply for the Entrepreneurship Study Award.

  • Full-time programme:  up to SGD30,000 (Deadline: 15 Apr, 2017)  Application closed
  • Part-time programme: up to SGD15,000 (Deadline: 15 May, 2017)  Download Form 


(ii)  NTC-MSc TIP Tuition Fee Waiver  for Qualified Singapore Citizens (SGD52,000)

Application is open to Singapore Citizens seeking admission to the MSc TIP. (Deadline: 15 Apr, 2017) Application closed.


Candidates need to meet the MSc TIP admission requirements to be considered for items (i) and (ii). Assessment  will include, but not limited to, the following criteria. Interview(s) will be conducted.

  • ​Academic Competence
  • Entrepreneurship & Innovation Capability
  • Leadership Qualities, including Teamwork Spirit

 

(iii) NTC-MSc TIP Tuition Subsidy for Singapore Citizens admitted to the MSc TIP  (SGD15,000)

Please refer to programme application deadlines. 


(iv) NTC-MSc TIP Merit Award (up to SGD10,000) 

Candidates who are enrolled into the MSc TIP will be considered for merit award based on performance and achievements in the programme.


(v) Chua Thian Poh Scholarship   

This scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens seeking admission to MSc TIP English. Candidates need to meet the MSc TIP admission requirements in order to be considered for the scholarship.

Application including all supporting documents & application fee must be received by 28 Feb, 2017. Application closed.

 

(vi) Productivity & Innovation Credit (PIC) Scheme

• 400% tax reduction or 40% cash payout on company’s investments in productivity and innovation activities.(www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/PIcredit.aspx)

 

Note: Financial assistance will be offered on a rolling basis, subject to the availability of funds.
 

Terms and conditions apply. The final decision on the award for items (i) to (v) shall rest with NTU-NTC.
