Kauffman Grant

In December 2008, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) became the first Kauffman Campus outside of the United States following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NTU and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

The partnership will provide a framework for both institutes to advance entrepreneurship in Asia. The scope of the MOU involves developing a one-stop centre for entrepreneurship support on the NTU campus, including student exchanges, educational programmes in entrepreneurship and educational and research initiatives at NTU.

The grant provides tuition fee, travel expenses and other relevant living expenses for American graduates to attend the MSc TIP program at NTC. The Kauffman-Singapore Scholars will acquire an invaluable international perspective during the five-month program to study commercialization and entrepreneurship in Singapore.

Founded by late entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman, the Foundation is based in Kansas City and has approximately $2 billion in assets.
