This course explores the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Since the start up process is the most challenging, students learn what entrepreneurship is about and what the journey entails and more importantly, how to be more entrepreneurial and fulfill their individual business visions.
An intensive 7-day course comprising lectures, interactive seminars, and workshops will cover a broad range of issues such as:
• Creativity and Innovation
• The Entrepreneurial Mindset
• Investigating Ideas & Opportunities
• Developing Business Plans
• Attracting Investments
• Managing Intellectual Property
There is a heavy emphasis on teamwork in the course assessment. The focus of case studies, examples and student projects will be on bio-science and bio-technology related areas.
